Ashlee Simpson is depressed over Melrose Place firing, according to National Enquirer. Ashlee ‘is teetering on the edge of an emotional breakdown’ afetr getting the boot from Melrose Place. According to report Ashlee is sustaining herself on energy drinks and nuts and is reportedly ‘rail-thin’ and ‘devastated’ after the bad news.CW network made the announcement (on October 22) that Ashlee character Violet and Colin Egglesfiels, Auggie, were to be written out by the end of the season one.
“Ashlee didn’t see it coming, and now she’s crushed,” said a friend to the Enquirer. “She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her.”
