Jessica Simpson’s  having a really hard time dealing wit the loss of her beloved malti poo Daisy and according to reports, her friends are really worried the singer is at the lowest point of her life. However another source disagree, Jessica is not spiraling out of control, she’s focusing on work and spending time with her family and friends.

“Daisy was her baby,” a source told People magazine. “It’s going to put her into a tailspin. It will put her into the worst place ever.”

“She’s really upset, but she’s not spiraling out of control by any means,” the source says. “She’ll get through this but it is like losing a family member. She’s focusing on work and spending time with her family and friends.

“She won’t leave her parents’ house.

“Whenever things went wrong for Jessica, she reached for Daisy.

“Daisy was her security blanket. When people let her down, she always had Daisy.”

[From PopEater]  On Sept. 19, her friend, stylist Ken Paves, convinced Simpson to finally leave her parents’ house. They went to Vino in Encino, Calif., but an onlooker says the outing was only slightly successful: “Jessica seemed okay, but wasn’t smiling much. The wine made her relax a bit, but it was still obvious that she was having a devastating week.”
