The tabloid reports that Gossip Girl producers are concerned that Hilary Duff isn’t in a good shape to fit in with series skinny-minnies and outfits on the show’s New York City set and they have ordered the 21-year-old to get to work on dropping the pound. Hilary Duff will play Olivia Burke, a famous film star in search of the normal college experience at New York University, when the third season of Gossip Girl premieres this fall. WTF?? I’ve watched the gossip girl new season and one of the reasons we love the show so much is because of the perfect viewing that feasts our eyes. hilary IS too fat for gossip girl and it is very off putting.

You’re joking…I’m not sure how being really hungry, as just about all those girls on Gossip Girl are, is perfect viewing. If Hilary was considered too fat by that picture…that’s just ridiculous. She looks healthy there. No wonder why girls hate their bodies.

she IS too fat for Gossip Girl. I’ve seen her and she looks larger in it than that picture, and it doesn’t help that wide-screen tv makes you 30 pounds heavier. Gossip Girl emphasizes the lavish lifestyle of teens, and her character (a Holllywood actress) is supposed to be a glamazon, tall, slim and svelte like the other characters. Hilary Duff is too thick, too short, and has no neck. Not exactly Gossip Girl material.
This might sound harsh, but face it – it’s a harsh world.

Just because someone isn’t emaciated, malnourished and dying doesn’t mean they are “fat”.
