Angelina Jolie herself had no interest in taking part in the recent Harper’s Bazaar feature on her, so she forced the magazine to use its first-ever paparazzi cover shot. Harper’s Bazaar published a detailed explanation as to why Jolie, 34, is one of the world’s most desirable women. Feminist essayist Naomi Wolf was behind the piece, she explained why women desire Angelina so much.
“Angelina [Jolie] refused to participate, so they went ahead and did a write-around and bought an image from a photo agency,” a source told the New York Post.
A magazine rep added, “The interest in Angelina has reached fever pitch. In a recent online poll, our readers voted overwhelmingly for Angelina as the woman they admire and most want to be, so we responded as quickly as possible.”
