Mischa Barton does UK Cosmopolitan magazine, she stripped down for the May cover nearly a year after enduring criticism about her sudden weight gain-turned-weight loss. Last year Mischa was spotted exposing some cellulite on her thighs. Now, the skinny star is so proud of her skeletal slim body.

“Surely there are more important issues than if someone has cellulite?” she said. “And I don’t understand the point of people looking for bad things. Why bother? I know it’s human nature to want to pick on other people, but I find it a little shallow.”
The starlet reportedly went from a sumptuous size 12 to a size 6 or 8 in less than a year. Barton said all it took was a healthy dose of post-breakup confidence, after splitting from boyfriend, Rooney guitarist Taylor Locke.
“The only way to be happy and be a more enjoyable person to be around is to embrace what you’ve got. Everyone has issues about their body, but I feel confident now. I’m healthy and happy,” she said.
Happy as she is, Barton insists that she, like all women, is not without her flaws.
“I think people see celebs as having these perfect lives,” she said. “But that’s not true.”
“Instead, what counts is that the people in your life – your family and friends – think you’re a nice person.”
